Shaping the future of creativity

A leading European arts institution rooted in the cultural heart of Amsterdam.

We empower the next generation of artists, performers, designers and cultural leaders through world-class, practice-led education.

Grounded in one of Europe’s most vibrant creative cities, AHK is a place where disciplines meet, ideas are tested, and collaboration drives artistic growth.

Our focus is simple:
artistic excellence, innovation, and impact.

We prepare students not just to work in the arts, but to actively shape their future.
